2. Inspect the door seal Open the door and look at the rubber gasket all the way around. Look for visible cracks, hardening, or obvious debris. Gently wipe it clean with a damp cloth and check it seals properly when the door closes.
3. Run a drain cycle Remove any clothes and run a spin or drain cycle. Listen for the pump motor running and feel for vibration. If it runs but water does not drain, the pump or filter may be blocked.
4. Check the drain filter Consult your user manual for the location of the small drain filter (usually at the base of the machine). Turn off the appliance, open the filter cover, and clear any fluff or debris. Reinstall and test with a short cycle.
5. Look for visible cracks in the drum Shine a torch inside the drum through the door opening. Look for splits or holes in the drum surface itself.
