Check external power supply. Confirm the wall socket is switched on and test it with another appliance (e.g. a lamp). If the socket is dead, check your RCD/circuit breaker and reset if tripped.
Inspect the mains cable. Look for visible damage, kinks, or exposed wires on the cable running from the machine to the wall. Do not use the machine if the cable is damaged.
Ensure the door is fully closed. A door that is not properly latched can trigger a safety lockout. Push the door firmly until you hear or feel it click into place.
